Your calm in the room, your voice in the moment, and one more person in your village. 💜

Hi, I’m Christina! I’m a mom of three, bonus mom to six, grandmother of eight, and someone who has been caring for babies and children since I was a preteen. Motherhood has given me plenty of real-life experience—the beautiful moments, the exhausting ones, and the moments when things don’t go according to plan. One of my own children spent time in the NICU and needed feeding assistance, so I understand personally how important it is to have someone beside you who can offer reassurance, information, and steady support. I’m naturally the person who wants to make sure everyone is okay, knows what’s going on, and has what they need—and that same heart is what I bring to the families I support.

Professionally, my work with mothers began as a Healthy Start Case Manager, helping pregnant women access education, care, and community resources. Today, I’m a DONA-trained birth doula pursuing certification, with additional training in childbirth education, breastfeeding, labor support, and hands-on comfort techniques. I bring years of leadership, advocacy, and problem-solving experience into my doula work, but I never want my support to feel clinical or impersonal. I want you to feel comfortable enough to ask me the question you think is silly, laugh with me when you need to, lean on me when things get hard, and know that I’ll help you understand your options and find the courage to use your voice. My hope is that when our time together is over, you don’t just feel like you had a doula—you feel like your village grew by one.

Your Questions, Answered

Who needs a doula?

Anyone who wants additional support, education, and encouragement during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum can benefit from a doula. Whether you have a large village or you're building your support system, I provide an extra layer of knowledgeable, compassionate care centered around you and your preferences.

How early should I book doula services?

Most families reserve birth doula support during the second trimester, but there is no "wrong" time to reach out. Because I accept a limited number of birth clients each month, earlier booking gives you the best chance of securing your due date. Last-minute inquiries are always welcome when availability allows.

Do you attend births in hospitals, birth centers, or at home?

I support families giving birth in hospitals, birth centers, and planned home-birth settings throughout Tampa Bay area. I work alongside your chosen birth team while keeping my focus on you—providing emotional, physical, and informational support throughout your birth experience.

What if I decide to change my birth plan?

Birth doesn't always follow a plan—and that's okay. I prefer the term birth preferences because flexibility is an important part of preparing for birth. If circumstances or your wishes change, we'll adjust together. My role is to help you understand your options, communicate your preferences, and feel supported in your decisions along the way.

What if I’m planning an epidural?

You still deserve support—no matter how you choose to give birth. An epidural doesn't mean you're out of options. We can explore different positions and comfort measures that may still be available to you and work together to help you feel informed, supported, and involved in your birth experience.

Whether your birth includes an epidural, induction, C-section, or a change in plans along the way, you don't deserve any less care because your birth isn't "natural" or unmedicated.

I'm here to help guide you through your birth with grace, not guilt.
